Hurricane Celia


Tropical Depression 96E has been elevated to tropical storm status and given the name Celia.  She is expected to reach hurricane status by Tomorrow and follow in the wake of Blas posing no threat to land.

Sister Ciela is still a tropical storm but is expected to reach category one hurricane status this evening.  She will be following in the wake of Blas far to the west of the Baja peninsula posing no threat to land..

.  Sister Celia is now a cat 1 hurricane and following the wake of Blas and is over 1000 miles SW of the cape and will pose no threat to land.  Celia will most likely have a 3-5 day life cycle with not much chance of winds increasing to cat 2 strength.

Celia who has been plutoed to a tropical storm and is slowly decaying and is expected to be a post tropical depression within 36 hours.
