TROPICAL STORM Orelen. She is well SW of of the cape and is expected to become a cat one hurricane tomorrow and  continue in a westward movement with no apparent danger to land as it moves west toward Hawaii.

Monday, September 12, 2016

Category one Hurricane Orlene well west of the cape.  She is expected to slowly move in a northwesterly direction for a few days and could reach cat 2 strength.  Regardless she will pose no threat to land.

Tuesday, September 13, 2016

Hurricane Orlene, now a cat 2 storm packing 105 mph winds is still on a dead westerly track toward Hawaii this morning.  She is well out in the Pacific and poses no danger to Mexico mainland or Baja.

sister Orlene that has been sort of meandering several hundred miles west of the cape for the past 24 hours.  She has been plutoed to a cat one storm and is expected to start moving west again today.  She has several more days of life left.

plutoed Orlene to a tropical storm.  She is still plugging along in a westerly direction and is expected to be a post tropical low in a couple of days.

This should be the last entry for sister Orlene. She contineues to slowly head west and should weaken to a post tropical depression in the next couple of days or less.
