Hello, I've written the correct call sign for Allure on this post. Geary, thank you for any word on this net in my quest to find Captain Dennis Hilling. The sonrisa net and your weather is a priority on s/v Allure and I appreciate all that you do for the cruising community.

I hope that anyone in the Bahia LA who has seen my husband aboard s/v Allure will check on him. He has not been in contact with his wife for 5 days plus and family is very concerned. Thank you for your time and effort

I apologize for using the guestbook to search for family. My brother and father arrived to playa el burro last week. My mom was slated to arrive on Tuesday, but I have not heard from any of them since Sunday 10/4. If anyone can confirm they are around and possibly request they email their son Devlin it would greatly ease my concern.

The family of the sailboat Allure is concerned because they haven’t heard from the Captain Dennis Hilling since October 6th and up until that time they have been communicating faithfully everyday via Skype. His wife says the Allure is docked at Bahia de Los Angeles in the Sea of Cortez and she very much wants contact from Dennis to know that he is OK. Dennis is not a ham, but listens to the Sonrisa net. Your reporting is so great! We are lucky to have a "hurricane corespondent" on the scene. The photos are worth more than a thousand words, especially the ones of the exploding palapa in the storm surge. You are doing all of us a great service - thank you. If you happen to get a shot of our trailer (behind Bony's) it would be priceless. Hasta la vista from Placerville, CA
